The Bent Mirror Series is an ongoing project. Nina Cho is continually exploring how two dimensional sheet metal can be transformed into three dimensional form by bending and folding it.

The intent of this project is to blur the line between an art object and functional product through unexpected sculptural form. This project pursues the aesthetic of abstraction and creates ambiguity in the form of the object. At the same time, the work brings curiosity as a functional home accessory. As a series, the four table top mirrors together create a landscape in a domestic space. Users can freely arrange these objects to highlight and reflect other important possessions they chose to showcase.
